At Charles L. Fife & Associates, PC, we are relentless in our pursuit of justice for those facing drunk driving or related charges in Colorado, including DUI, DWAI, DUID and serious traffic offenses.

As we write this blog, we hope to inform and educate everyone in the public about their rights, about issues and controversies in the law, and about news related to our practice.

Because each of our lawyers has been practicing criminal law for a decade or more, we have developed a great deal of insight into the concerns of people dealing with a DUI. A first offense can result in serious consequences, including fines, jail time, driver license suspension -- or the loss of your commercial driver license and your job. What Colorado calls "persistent drunk driving" can result in a felony DUI charge.

We understand how serious these issues are for our clients. We have experience with a host of important issues related to drunk or drugged driving, including teen drug and alcohol abuse, the validity of field sobriety tests and Breathalyzer tests, the impact of diabetes and legal prescription medicines on drunk driving, and many others.
